Can't sync my iphone to Itunes on my new PC.

I purchased a new PC, my iphone I-tunes is sync'd to the old Windows 10 pc. I don't care about saving the files/music on my old pc, I don't need to transfer the files. But I can't get my iphone (I-phone 12) to sync on the new Windows 11 PC. it just doesn't give me the option. I've tried MANY things to get this to work, but it will not give me the option to sync my Itunes to the itunes app on my new PC.


What is the proper procedure to do this? Again, I don't care about transferring files, the old files/music can be lost. I just want it to sync to the new PC Itunes.

Does the device appear in iTunes when connected? If not try iOS device not showing in iTunes for Windows - Apple Community. Otherwise see Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer - Apple Support. Syncing a device to a new library on a new computer will wipe the media from it, not merge it, just to be clear.


Should you change your mind about your old library see Move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Community. Also has advice for reclaiming content from a device when the old library is no longer available.
