Microsoft Sharepoint Password request

This screen repeatedly comes up. I have an old version of Office products (Version 16 for Mac) and have never used Sharepoint. I think it is malware or a virus, but my virus software, says I'm ok. I will NOT put my Password in. Is there an update in the works or something else? Thanks.

Strong password suggestion I would be okay with the strong password suggestion except that it is now starting with the strong password suggestion before I make a choice and then there is no way to get rid of it - choose your own password - so I have to start all over and in most cases it happens again. This needs to fixed.
