How do I sync shared passwords from iPhones to MacBook Pros?

I recently set up family password sharing for my husband and I. The passwords are now being shared on our iPhones, but do not show up on our MacBook Pros. In fact, we each lost most of the passwords on our MacBooks.

I have tried all the recommended suggestions, such as signing us in and out of iCloud , turning passwords on and off, going to iCloud.com, turning the phones and laptops on and off, etc. Nothing seems to work.

We really need to have our passwords syncing to our laptops. This is so frustrating.
