Archive Logic projects best practice
I am looking for advice on what is the best practice to archive Logic Pro projects. I don't want my life's work to be unavailable due to changing formats and protocols!
So, How to make them future-proof?
I know that hard drives will always eventually fail. SSDs and other flash devices need to be refreshed every year and might die after 10 years or so.
I read that the best current option is Blu-ray M-DISC (or very pricey LTO Ultrium tape). How do you audio pros preserve a digital project so that it is still accessible and useable in say 30 years from now? And, do you save them in any other format in addition to the .Logic files?
