I was trying to scan my credit card in Apple Pay and this transparent floating square with a small rectangle at the bottom popped up. I can’t find anything telling me what it is or how to make it go away. If it matters, the scanning process didn’t work.

It’s nothing I’ve ever seen in Apple Pay and it doesn’t appear in my wife’s or my iPad. Make sure it’s update to latest iPad OS version. Then try a forced restart.

Thanks so much Jeff. This is a brand new one so fully updated with the latest everything. I will try the forced restart and see if that works!
Let me know how it goes. It may be something totally unrelated to Apple Pay. If necessary I’ll request the moderators move this thread to iPad community.
