is there a way of stopping a specific app from connecting to bluetooth?

I wear hearing aids and whenever I open specific apps for example ESPN, PokemonGo, etc my phone will deafen my hearing aids because it thinks I’m listening to something.

I have tried revoking privileges to Bluetooth in privacy and security but alas no such luck.

getting very frustrated by not being able to communicate with people around me while playing Pokemon or checking the sports scores and my phone deafening my ability to hear.

I don’t want to keep having to turn Bluetooth on and off. This can’t be the solution. Please help!
