Secondary tool in Logic Pro X 11.1.2 keeps randomly selecting pointer tool

hey guys,

After copy pasting my key commands from my previous mac to my new macbook I noticed that the secondary tool in Logic keeps reverting back to the pointer tool.

This is random because I have tried every key combination and it just reverts back to the pointer tool randomly.

If I try another key command preset it doesn't happen at all. I have solved any conflict in 'key commands assignements' but even that didn't help much. I have never experienced this before.

Anybody?
