Block music videos on Apple Music while playing on Mac

Is there a way to exclude or block all music videos while listening to albums on Apple Music? I was listening to MAYHEM from Lady Gaga. The last three "tracks" are music videos. As I was listening in the background while doing other work, the video suddenly took full screen and was very disruptive. In general, I have no desire to watch videos on a music app. I also feel I shouldn't have to enforce parental controls considering there are no children in the household.

Thanks,

There isn't currently a feature to skip music videos that are part of an album when playing from any view that includes them. You can make a smart playlist that excludes all music videos, and play an album from that, or you can uncheck them so they are skipped unless you specifically select a particular video to play. Or once you've started playback you can remove anything you don't want from the Up Next playlist. iTunes/Music have always behaved this way, it is simply a function of the design of the app as it currently is. You can request a new feature - Product Feedback - Apple - but in the meantime there are workarounds. Pick one or develop your own.

The easiest way is probably to make sure that you have Music > Settings > General > Show: > Songs list tickboxes selected, then uncheck any item that you'd like to skip during normal track to track or shuffle playback. This could be all music videos that are part of your library along with any type of bonus interview tracks.

Nevermind. I see where the checkboxes lie; however, I'm not adding albums to my library just to listen to something once or twice. I'm browsing music and playing an album. I just wish these types of things were not forced upon users. It may be time to go back to CDs and mixed tapes.

Thanks for the input and feedback. My gripe isn't so much that it plays the videos, but that the app does so in full screen and interrupts other work without an apparent option to suppress that function. I'll use the web player, which only full screens the browser window, or, probably, YouTube Music instead.
