iphone 16 icloud backup ios 18.3.2 (don’t have enough storage)

‘this issue came up about 2 years ago and went all the way up the technical chain to the main engineers. All of a sudden my account was working again.

Well either buy more icloud storage so you can continue sync and back up to the cloud, or leave it as is.

Your screenshot tells you exactly what needs to be done.

I received my iPhone 16 in January... since then I've run into this issue 3 times. Each time required a restore. They are now escalating it. I'll post back if / when I found out what the issue is. I never had this issue until the new iPhone..
