Apple Alarm not going off

I never thought to write on this forum until today. Enough is enough! My inconsistent Apple alarm stock app has caused me to miss flights, miss meetings, miss appointments, miss work, etc. and its really becoming ridiculous. I’ve tried everything for the past three months to try to resolve it. Turned off the Attention Aware setting, put my volume all the way up, put my ringer all the way up, changed the alarm sounds, left my phone face down, turned my ringer on, turned off DND, turned off Sleep Mode, restarted my phone, triple checked what time I set, turned off Bluetooth, updated the iOS, deleted all my old alarms and started brand new. NOTHING IS WORKING and it’s driving me crazy. And no, resetting won’t help either because I literally got a new phone last month and it’s still not working. What exactly is going on???

iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18

I am having same issue alarm not going off on set time. It has happened 3 times in 30 days.

  1. Missed my 21:50 alarm so I missed work and almost got fired
  2. Missed my 10 AM alarm so I missed my college
  3. today again missed my 22:17 alarm and I got late got work

This is ridiculous. How can we not have a simple bug free app whose only job is to ring alarm.

Answers to questions another user asked on this thread.

1) Is it going off, but at the wrong time?

No it doesn’t go off at all

2) Going off, but no sound?

Don’t know when I wake up after hours there’s no notification or alarm screen on display. Alarm gets disabled in app as it would have rang.

3) Vibration only?

No, my roommate is by my side. He didn’t feel anything.

4) Is your time zone correct?

Yes, I have had iPhone for years and never changed that. Alarms works fine most of the time except few misses.

5) Try testing. Set an alarm one minute into the future and wait for it.

Most of the time alarm works so this test is bot reliable.

6) You said that you got a new phone. Have them check it.

Not in my case. I have had this phone since September 2024, when they were launched.

Hello,

Hmm, it should be working. We would need some more precise details however:

1) Is it going off, but at the wrong time?

2) Going off, but no sound?

3) Vibration only?

4) Is your time zone correct?

5) Try testing. Set an alarm one minute into the future and wait for it.

6) You said that you got a new phone. Have them check it.

7) Go to an authorized repair center: Find Locations

Good luck.
