Subject: Urgent Refund Request – Unfair Rejection & Misleading Subscription Charge

Hi Apple Support,

I signed up for PicsArt believing I was starting a 7-day free trial, as it was clearly stated on the screen. However, as soon as I approved autopay (up to ₹2400, the subscription cost), I was charged immediately without getting the trial.

This feels like a scam—PicsArt is misleading users by presenting a trial and then charging right away. I don’t want this app for even a second, and I never intended to purchase the premium version. Since I don’t need it, why was I charged instantly? This amount is way out of my budget, and I need a refund as soon as possible.

I have already applied for a refund twice, and both times it was rejected, saying I’m not eligible. Why is that? It feels like my request wasn’t even properly reviewed. Who is checking these refund requests? Please take action against them as well because it seems like they are rejecting claims without even reading them.

I would really appreciate it if you could escalate this issue and process my refund. Please help.

Thank you

Hello,

This is not Apple Support. This is a community of other Apple users like you who share tips and tricks to get the most out of Apple devices.

For more info on how to request a refund for a subscription, check out this guide: Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support.

You can always reach out to Apple Support as well: https://getsupport.apple.com/

I hope this helps!

Hi Drake,

Thanks for your response. I’ve already tried requesting a refund through Apple Support, but my request was rejected twice, stating that I’m not eligible. I also reached out to PicsArt, and they haven’t helped either. Even when I directly contacted Apple Support, they were not helpful at all.

I was clearly shown that I was signing up for a 7-day free trial, yet I was charged immediately for the full subscription amount (₹2400), which is a huge amount for me. I wouldn’t have subscribed if I had known I’d be charged right away. This feels completely misleading, and I don’t understand why Apple isn’t taking action against such deceptive practices.

Since neither Apple Support nor PicsArt is helping, what else can I do to escalate this issue? I need my refund as soon as possible.

Would appreciate any advice or assistance on this.

Thanks.
