New iphone 16 plus, camera preview freezes for few seconds and then starts working properly.
I tried reset all settings, delete everything and start like a new device, but no change - everything is same.
While there is message for your phone is curently restoring from iCloud, the camera works perfect, and after that - few days later, starts freezing the preview.
Any ideas?

I see the issue, thanks. You have View Outside the Frame on. What happens if you turn it off, restart your iPhone and try it again? I don’t need another video, just a reply is good. It could be a combination of settings. Also, does it happen outside in daylight?
To be honest, I can't tell if it has anything to do with daylight. I'll try turning that setting off and restarting the phone. It does it randomly every time and I can't figure out what it's related to.
The last thing I can think of is Reset all Settings. No data is lost but all settings go back to factory defaults. It’s been known to fix stubborn issues before. You might want to try it.
iPhone > Settings > General > scroll down > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset All Settings
Are you shooting Apple ProRAW Max? What format are you shooting? Do you have Prioritize Faster Shooting enabled?
Is your iPhone updated to latest iOS version, 18.3.2?
Prioritize faster shooting is enabled.
I dont have proraw because it`s 16 plus model.
The shooting format is Most compatible
And yes, the phone is updated to 18.3.2

When i press the camera the preview freezes just like switching between photo and video.
And this is for few seconds.
I’m wondering if it’s just pausing for a second to make various adjustments such as exposure, white balance etc.
Well, the camera settings are saved in my icloud from my old phone - iphone 14, and i just restored everything. Didn`t make any adjusments. I will try to turn of View Outside the Frame.
No change - everything is the same. Thanks anyway. What's more interesting is that my colleague's phone does the same thing. Apparently Apple doesn't care about this problem. :)
