Why is my Bluetooth mouse not working with TinkerCad on iPad?

I use TinkerCad quite a bit. The computer is my usual go to device. Lately I’ve been traveling so I wanted to use my iPad. I have a brand new iPad mini and have installed TinkerCad on my iPad. I always use a mouse with TinkerCad so when I started using the iPad and having no mouse I was not doing well with only a touch screen. The Bluetooth mouse (Logitech Pebble Mouse2, M3505, high rating for tablets) paired easily with my iPad and I tried it right away with TinkerCad. It moves around as a mouse does although I’m not excited about the round dot instead of the arrow pointer. (I hate it) Anyway I can use it to select some things but when I click on “create” and then “3D”, nothing happens. The program should go to the creation design base/bed. I also can’t look at previous designs. Nothing happens when I click on them. I can use my finger but why have the mouse? Any ideas?

Thank You

Using mice (and trackpads) on iPad is "somewhat" of a new feature, and a relatively unused one. It's up to the app developers to fully support external devices like that, so it may be a long time before you see more apps make use of the new technology.

While you can't change the shape of the pointer (likely the standard cursor doesn't fit in the design language of iPadOS), you can change the color and border width by going to Settings > Accessibility > Pointer Control > Color, then selecting the options you want.
