AIFC files not playing or saving on iMovie

I recorded via Quicktime and created an AIFC file which is playing on Music, but when I add the clip to an image in iMovie, you can see the sound waves, but it's not playing or exporting. What can I do to add the sound file? Thanks.

MXF files not showing video when imported to my computer nor FC I have Ventura and the latest version of FC. When I was using Monterey, I did not have an issue importing my MXF files, but now, when I import to FC, I cannot see the image but I can hear the audio. In my camera which is a Canon c70, I can see the image in playback. Help

Try using AIFF or M4A (AAC) instead of AIFC.

Thanks for the idea. I can try, but I'm just wondering why Apple doesn't recognise Apple anymore because QuickTime saves automatically as AIFC.
