Recording in Logic through 2i2 interface, audio comes through but the track doesn't pick up audio when recording

I'm recording a track in logic using the scarlet 2i2 interface. It has been working fine for all other tracks but suddenly yesterday when I hit record, I can hear myself playing but the recorded track shows no wave information and is silent when played back. I've troubleshot the 2i2 and am confident that is not the issue. I've double checked my inputs and outputs as going through the scarlet for both logic and my mac's system preferences but have had no luck.
