Pages do not automatically save documents on iCloud

My documents have always saved automatically but since I factory reset my Mac, I have to save files by myself.

Maybe I just turned on/off a wrong setting somewhere. But do not know where.

Can anyone help please?

The System Settings > Desktop & Dock panel > Ask to keep changes when closing documents is likely enabled as it will block autosave of a saved Pages document and when you attempt to quit, the dialog you posted will appear.

You can tell if autosave is blocked because there will be a black dot in the title bar's red traffic light that does not disappear as you enter changes.

Tested: Pages v14.3, Sequoia v15.3.2
