Compatibility of 20W adapter with Apple MagSafe charger for iPhone 15 Pro Max

I’m 15 Promax user and just recently bought a  Magsafe charger. I wanna know if my 20w adapter is compatible to my magsafe charger? Or should I buy 30W adapter instead? Thank you.

Your 20W adapter is compatible with your MagSafe Charger, and it will charge your iPhone 15 Pro Max at the maximum 15W wireless charging speed that MagSafe supports.

Upgrading to a 30W adapter won’t make a difference for your iPhone. MagSafe charging for iPhones is capped at 15W, and the 20W adapter is already enough to reach that speed. A higher-wattage adapter (like 30W or 35W) only benefits devices that can draw more power, such as an iPad, MacBook Air, or dual-device charging setups.
