How do I remove Apple Podcasts widget from iPhone Lock Screen?

When I go for a run and listen to the Podcast app, the lock screen will have a simple podcast widget (podcast image, time in podcast, advance, pause, rewind) near the bottom of the screen. The issue is that this keeps getting bumped while I’m running so it will make the podcast jump, and I’m wondering how to remove this “widget” completely so it does not display or can be controlled while the screen is locked.

I have tried going into the Lock Screen setup -> Customize, to presumably change this, but there is no Podcast widget shown to remove (or add).

Any advice would be a great help, thanks.

Unfortunately, when the screen is "locked" (and maybe I'm using the wrong term), the "widget" which appears in the image attached (had to be unlocked to take the screenshot, when locked it looks the same just the whole screen greyed) can't be held to get a prompt to remove it. I might be expressing this question with all the wrong terms though :D
