My iPhone 7 wouldn’t update past iOS 15.8.3.
Do any of you know how to fix this? I’m having so much trouble with iOS 15.8.3. The iOS update that I want to perform is iOS 18.1.1. Any replies?

There is no fix other than to buy a new iPhone.
The iPhone 7 does not support iOS 16 and higher. For it, iOS 15 is the end of the line. iOS 15.8.3 is currently the latest release of iOS 15, so unless there is a future iOS 15.8.4 or something similar, there will be no more updates for that iPhone.
There is nothing to fix. An iPhone 7 can't be updated beyond 15.8.3, it doesn't have the hardware required to run anything higher.
If you need a higher iOS version, you will have to purchase a newer phone.
• If you have an iPhone 6S through 7, or SE 1st generation, you can update to 15.8.3
• If you have an iPhone 8 or X, you can update to 16.7.10
• If you have an iPhone SE (2nd generation or later), or XR through 16, you can update to 18.3.2
Maybe if you post what issues you are having, someone in here can help.

iOS 15.8.4 was released on March 31, 2025.
The reply from Servant of Cats predates that availability.
iPhone 7 isn’t going to get iOS 16 or later.
