iOS 18.3.2 update turns off Focus on iPhone

iOS update has turned off focus feature and cause some disconnect between quick screen access function and actual settings action. IE., turning on do not disturb via quick screen, did not activate in settings. Seems re activating in settings may be fix. This seems a common issue with particular device as several past updates have caused this malfunction.

My focus is allowing notifications to come through. No setting changes seem to fix the problem. I had no issues until the update this past weekend. Not happy.

Ok first, Force Restart your device.

If the issue persists, go to: Settings > Focus. Now, tap on the Focus that lets notifications through. Under the “Allow Notifications”, tap “People”. Now, remove everyone until it says “None allowed”. Do the same for apps.

Make sure the “Intelligent Breakthrough & Silencing” switch is off too, near the top of the page. (C’mon Apple did the name have to be that long?)

Let us know if the issue persists. Have a great day!

I have always gotten some notifications for some reason when focus is engaged but for a short time I couldn’t stop the sound after this update. I went into settings, turned off completely, bother do not disturb and personal. I don’t have work on this device. Then restarted the device. Then turned just the do not disturb on. This morning it worked correctly. Not one notification till I turned do not disturb off. Hope it helps.
