I am trying to reduce the documents stored on my iPhone.
I have noticed that the Files app and the Pages app have exactly the same documents in each, but am worried that if I delete one of the apps, all the docs will disappear from both of them!
Can anyone offer a solution, please?

The documents you see in Files and in Pages are the same documents, they are not duplicated, so yes, if you delete them in one place, they will delete everywhere else.
Files is not a stand alone container, it shows files and documents within itself and other apps like Pages.
