Next in queue Podcast jumps to the end when it starts.

If I'm listening to a podcast and have another queued up to play next, as soon as the initial podcast finishes I can watch the next load, then the progress bar immediately jumps to the end of the episode and halts playback.

This earlier question is exactly what I'm experiencing. But appears no solution has been found...

Podcast Add to Queue Not Working and Play Next not working Steps to reproduce: In the podcast app, go to the episode in library that you want to add to the queue, tap the three dots, tap “Add to Queue”. The “Added to Queue” message pops up. Then navigate to the Queue and see that the episode has not been added. same steps as above, except tap “Play Next”. The “Playing Next” message pops up. But the episode is not added to the “Up Next” queue. My Queue was full of random episodes which the app had automatically placed on the queue. I deleted all but three of these from the queue, but this has not fixed the problem. I also turned off my iPhone and turned it back on. This also did not help. my wife has the exact same problem on her iPhone, which is a different generation, so it is not a problem with my phone in specific.

Apple Podcasts iOS - Add to Queue not working At some point in the last 45 days or so, Add To Queue stopped adding episodes to queue. Up Next still works. iOS 17.2.1 Podcast Issues I listen to podcasts on the Apple podcast app. Ever since I updated the iOS, my podcasts will not load. Sometimes an episode starts to play a for a few seconds but it stops to load some more. Eventually I get the “try again later” message. I’m on iPhone SE second generation.
