How to fix Calendar refresh issues on Mac mini?

iCal is giving me a message that my calendar couldn't be refreshed. "The server did not recognize your user name or password for account "xxxx". Make sure you enter them correctly.

iCal had been refreshing without a problem on my desktop (mac mini) and my laptop but has suddenly stopped updating on my mac mini.

Have no idea why it has stopped as I haven't changed anything in the iCal account entry. It happens automatically when I log onto my computer.

Using Sequoia and it looks like there is an update. Hoping that fixes the issue.

If you have applied the macOS 15.3.2 update (which was released a few days before your post) without an improvement in your calendar syncing, or even if you didn't update and it persists, try disconnecting your Calendar app on your Mac Mini from iCloud syncing then reconnecting.

You can do this by going into Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > See All

then turn off iCloud Calendars my moving the slider to the left.

I would then close Settings and wait for a beat before going back in and turning iCloud Calendars back on.

The point of this is to establish a new connection and syncing cycle with your iCloud calendar data.
