How can I control volume on Mac with two Studio displays?

I have a Mac Studio M2 Ultra setup with 2 x Apple Studio Displays which I have setup via the Audio MIDI Setup app to simultaneously play music which is great but I have now lost the ability to control the volume using the F11 & F12 keys which is very frustrating.

Can anyone advise as to how I can reinstate their use but retaining the two displays working together?

Use two Studio Displays for stereo output? I have a Mac studio with two studio displays. I'm hoping to be able to set up the speakers on both studio displays to all play at the same time. I would like to use all speakers in my left monitor for the left channel and right for the right. I saw a post that is about a year old where people were asking the same. I'm hoping that in the last year there may have been an update to the OS that might enable this? Someone posted that they could set it up in Audio Midi Setup, but there was no control over the volume. I don't think we should have to buy Loopback from a third party for $99 to make this work. I can't believe that we have to pay so much for these displays, paying extra because they include speakers, microphones and cameras and then have the extra ones unusable. If this is the case, a stripped studio display should be sold without these extra features.

No HDMI Volume Control This is simply one of the most requested feature updates of all time. Despite it's simplicity, despite it being common in all other operating systems. Apple simply refuses to put this feature in. I am using Johns words, because I couldn't be as polite. The response from Apple was as condescending as it was unhelpful. I repeat the request here because Apple just doesn't seem to get that Apple should support the customer - not ignore them till they go away. I have to use my monitor's buttons and navigate through a clunky menu to change the monitor's volume. This is not an issue in any Linux distro or in Windows.
