Motion 5 Not working

Motion 5.9 dosen't work on my MacBook Air M2 2022. I have a great MacBook Pro from late 2012 with Motion 5.3, and Motion dosen't work here either. When I say "dosen't work" I mean dosen't work properly.

No problems with Final Cut on any of my MacBooks.

I suspect it must be a 3rd party problem (FxFactory, CoreMelt etc.). If that is the case, I have no idea how to correct the issue:(

You mean it doesn’t even start? I sense that there may be something lost in translation as that is not exactly the meaning of “doesn’t work properly”, but perhaps that was what you meant.

If it works but does so incorrectly, then please tell us what it is doing wrong.

In any case, it probably doesn’t hurt to try the first step, which is to delete Motion preferences.

a To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting the application and click Delete Custom Settings. The application will revert to a default set of preferences.

Thx for answering, Luis. Well, I can easily start up Motion and make new project. The not working as it should, or correctly, is fx. when I make a clone layer of a text layer with 1 or more behaviors attached to the text layer. Then Motion starts to act up.

I did trash prefs and even downloaded Motion again. Same problem with my other Mac with Motion 5.3, which runs on Catalina. On both my Macs I have the same 3rd party plugins installed.
