Why do apple removed the schedule function in setting for mac auto power on?

I don't understand why apple removed the schedule function for mac auto power on/off ? It is so difficult to use terminal and add command to set the schedule time and date!! Is there a security problem or system problem for the schedule function? Hey, apple please add back the schedule function in setting please......

Scheduled automatically shut down. When I had the previous MacOS, there was a thing where I could go into the battery section in system preferences and schedule an automatically shut down and turn on time. Now the Mac air I have with Ventura 13.1 does not include that option in the battery section. I don't know how to turn the automatic schedule off and stop the Mac to shut down automatically. No way to schedule startup or shutdown macOS Ventura System Settings In it's infinite wisdom Apple has decided to remove a valuable feature that has been part of Mac Os System Preferences since the beginning of time. I tried the terminal commands, but they only seem to accept the last command given. When I check the schedule, Terminal only shows me the results from the last given command. Apple will probably follow the script, and re-introduce the feature like it is something new, somewhere down the line. Why, oh Why?

Scheduling in Ventura has been removed. Here is the workaround. I've been using the Scheduling feature of Energy Saver in previous OS versions to shut down my computer at night and start up in the morning so I was surprised that, even though Ventura has eliminated that feature, my computer continued to follow that schedule. The problem is I no longer have a way to change it or cancel it. But there is a simple solution. Here it is. I learned from Apple Senior Support a work around that uses Terminal to access it. Schedule your Mac to turn on or off in Terminal - Apple Support The terminal command "pmset -g sched" revealed the current schedule. I was able to modify it as well as cancel it. It works!

Not sure why but download the free app "Onyx" which under the utilities tab is a scheduling feature. Very easy to use.
