Iphone calendar will not sync with Mac calendar.

Events that I put on to my iPhone calendar do not show up on my iMac calendar and vis a versa. I have checked settings on both devices, and iCloud calendar is toggled on.

I'm sure that it is a simple fix for my 82 year old simple mind. Thanks for your thoughts.

How to ensure complete Calendar sync between my iPhone and MacBook Air? Hi - my calendar is not syncing between my iPhone and my MacBook Air. I have tried all the suggested fixes - eg connecting the phone to the Mac, checking my iCloud settings etc but although some appointments are appearing in my iPhone and Mac calendars, not all of them are. me, too. This started recently, maybe a week or so ago.
