You need to authenticate before acesssing keynote

Do you mean you want the user to enter some password before they can open/view a presentation?

On iOS, click the ... menu in the toolbar. Under "Presentation Options' there is a Set Password option:



You (or anyone) will need to enter the password before being able to open/play the presentation.

Is that sufficient?
