Connecting to a dot matrix printer

Hi there! I'm an artist and I need to use a dot matrix printer for one of my pieces. I recently bought a Citizen GSX-190 II and am trying to have it connect to my computer, but am having trouble figuring out how. I've seen a lot of different stuff on downloading drivers (can't find one) and different ways to connect it. Is there a way for me to connect this to my Mac or is it a lost cause? I REALLY need it for this piece!! I have Mac OS Ventura

Gutenprint/Gimpprint may see it.

Keyspan made USB to Parallel adapters for printers. You'll need to see if there are any drivers specific to Citizen that are Gutenprint/Gimpprint. It may be as simple as connecting the printer, turning on the printer, turning on the computer, and adding it with the Apple menu -> System Settings -> Print & Scan, and using the Option key when adding the printer. That taps into the Gutenprint/Gimpprint drivers that come with the Mac. Otherwise you'll have to find a binary to install additional drivers.
