Configd using a lot of memory

Configd is using up a ton of my memory, and I'm not sure if it is essential or if there is a way to get it to stop slowing up my computer. I'm running Venture 13.4

Is the computer using any Commercial VPN , any Third Party Security Software, any Third Party 2-Way Firewall ?
