How do I turn off unexpected child lock on iPhone 11?

my iPhone 11 just randomly decided to turn on child lock on my phone, I have never turned it on nor have needed to. It keeps asking for a passcode when I try to turn it off from settings but I never created a passcode for it to use? I did recently download the latest update but I don’t think that’s the cause, how do I turn it off? Thanks
