StartPage: Remove duplication of favorites

When I browse through my iPhone start page I start to see duplicates of my favorites. I have tried removing them individually which works only briefly. I see them added to the end of the favorites after a short time. Further deletion only serves to repeat their return to the bottom of the start page. Input to resolution would be most appreciated.
