The Samsung monitor is saying it sense no connection. I am using a Micro HDMI which came with the monitor connecting the Mini with the monitor. Have tried unplugging all and waiting.
Is there a problem with using a Micro HDMI with the Samsung monitor (which does have a micro HDMI port)?

Odd, looking through the tech specs for the Monitor on Samsung's website, it does not appear to have a Micro HDMI port, only regular HDMI as does the Mac mini.
Are you certain its a micro HDMI and not say USB-C?
A regular HDMI cable should work from the Mac Mini's regular HDMI port to one of the monitor's HDMI ports.
What port are you using on the Mac Mini exactly?
The new Mac's are very cable picky and do not do well using the cheap-o manufactures supplied video cables.
With you want is a short 3.3ft high speed 8k HDMI to HDMI cable.

If the Samsung supplied Micro HDMI to HDMI cable (micro HDMI in the display and standard HDMI in the Mac mini) is not working...?
Then you need to replace that Samsung cable with an aftermarket high speed HDMI or USB-C to DisplayPort cable.

Well, that is a special model and it does indeed have a microHDMI connector. But that connector is the HDMI 2 input.
Have you set your monitor to use the HDMI 2 input? If your monitor is set for HDMI 1 (default) but you cabled into HDMI 2 you would indeed get a "no connection" message on screen ... due to no signal into HDMI 1.
Also check that the Input Port Version is set to HDMI 2.0 in your monitor's settings. Read the manual about where these settings are.
BTW, it would be much better to get a good, standard HDMI cable and use it with the monitor's HDMI 1 input. Most of the cables included with monitors, while they may "meet" the specs they are cheap cables. The "high speed" microHDMI cable that came with the monitor is only rated for 4K. Your monitor is an 8K gaming display. With this monitor you should use an 8K HDMI 2.0 certified cable like this one or better.

The monitor should have physical control panel on it to select the input. On the back.
The source button is the one you need to change the inputs.
The 49" G9 display has 2 standard HDMI ports, 1 standard DisplayPort, 2 USB-A ports and 1 USB-B port. I don't see any "micro HDMI" ports on it unless there is some nonstandard model.
It will help if you identify the exact model number.

The quick set-up guide that came in the packaging definitely shows a diagram of"Connecting using the Micro HDMI Cable". The back of the monitor that I have plugged into is also labeled Micro HDMI.
The reason I am using this HDMI connection rather then the regular is because this was the only cable supplied with the monitor that would fit. There was regular HDMI connector cable in the packaging.
I guess I could buy a regular HDMI cable and try that. But odd that it only came with a Micro HDMI cable.

I am using the HDMI port on the Mac mini M4 model.
That specific model deos have an Micro-HDMI port. Make sure you have selected the correct inout on the mo nitro for that connection as mentioned it appears the micro HDMI port is HDMI-2, while the regular HDMI is HDMI-1.
Also, what are you connecting that cable to on the Mac mini? The Mac mini definitely does not have a Micro-HDMI port.

Have you ever read the User Guide that came with your monitor? It's all there.

I don't think I can access to update. I have no connection. I have a new HDMI cable arriving tomorrow. Hopefully that will work.
Is there no on-screen menu you can navigate through? I have the G95 smart monitor but I would think you could download the firmware and load the update via USB drive.
