How to rid user initials when FaceTiming

When I receive a FaceTime video, I can see the other person’s face.

When I initiate a FaceTime video, the other person appears as an initial inside a colored circle. The other person sees me as an initial also. How can I get rid of the initial and see the person’s face?

Btw, it works perfectly if I use my iPhone. Both devices have the latest update.
