iphone 14pro power notification ("ding") started again with IOS 18

previously I was able to have my wireless charger connect without any sound.

but now any power connection plays the "ding" even when in do not disturb is active in the sleep schedule.

My phone displays "do not disturb" or "sleep"

I have searched for an 1+ hours only to find some of the options not available on IOS 18???

Any help would be great, as this way I will not wake my wife if I come to bed later and connect my phone to power for charging. (I have been using wireless charging and it is great)
