iphone 16 pro terrible photo details quality

iPhone 16 pro terrible photo details quality compared to 12 mini especially on 2x zoom it shows huge difference and the 16 pro feels like 10 year old phone with those grainy photos. Can software update fix that or its better to return the phone?

Show us some samples. My 16 Pro Max takes the best photos of any of the iPhone's I've owned and I've owned just about every model sold over the last 13 years.
