Floating Thumbnail always enabled after reboot

Hi,

Everytime I reboot my device, the "Floating thumbnail" is re-enabled and I need to disabled it again. How do I fix this? Thank you.

I'm using Os X 14.7.2

If this persists, you may want to try resetting the prefereces for screen capture.

You can paste this to a Terminal window:

defaults delete com.apple.screencapture

All the settings should revert to their defaults.

Set them again the way you want, and see if it now sticks.

First, update to Sonoma 14.7.4. That may be all that's needed.

If not…

Try booting into Safe Mode then restart normally. Sometimes that will fix anomalies.
