Logic Pro X Ambisonic Crossfade Issue

I'm trying to add equal power crossfades between two regions and the second region doesn't fade in as the first region is fading out. Instead, it starts abruptly at the end of the first region's fade-out even though the fade is shown as an equal power crossfade. I'm using the fade tool. The regions are ambisonic WAVs at 44.1/16.
