Why do apps force close when syncing music library from PC to iPhone via USB?

Every time I try to sync my music library from my PC to my iPhone via USB, it renders my iPhone inoperable because apps automatically force close themselves.

I can’t get my iPad music library (which is the one I want on my iPhone) to actually appear on my iPhone.

iPhone 15 Pro

iPad 10th generation

Windows 11 Pro

Running iOS 18.3 on the iPhone and iPad OS 18.3 on the iPad

What am I doing wrong here?

Q1. Applications Closing After Syncing:

Why do apps force close when syncing music library from PC to iPhone via USB?

A1. Multitasking:

Inly one application window can be used at one on an iPhone. So, are you certain the app is closing? Or is it just minimizing the window?

Q2. About iTune Music Syncing:

I can’t get my iPad music library (which is the one I want on my iPhone) to actually appear on my iPhone.[…]

A2. Getting iTunes Match to be Usable:

Go here: Subscribe to iTunes Match - Apple Support. Not all items are available in all counties/regions. It all has to do with licensing between Apple and the Music Studio. Nothing can be done not your end.

Accessing iTunes Match Between Devices:

As for using this service, you need to have an Apple Music subscription to access home music in the Music app (or iTunes) on all of your devices. Go here: Subscribe to Apple Music on iPhone - Apple Support
