How do I customize hyperlink styles in Pages on Mac?
In Pages, have you ever been frustrated with the preset hyperlink style? Follow:
The preset hyperlink style is a bold and underlined text that is surrounded by a box.
If the hyperlink has been copied from the internet then then an extra 16.63 point space is added below the text.
If one is writing a paper that contains numerous hyperlinks, the large boxes and line gaps (due to the paragraph spacing) make for a very messy looking page.
Yes, the paragraph spacing can be set to zero by doing each hyperlink individually.
Yes, the underline can be removed by doing each hyperlink individually.
Can the box be removed? I haven’t found a way to do that.
Questions:
1. Can the box around the hyperlink be removed. If yes, then how?
2. Is there a way to set a permanent hyperlink style that will:
a. eliminate the box around the text
b. eliminate the “after paragraph” spacing
c. add any other desired details
