their website says it requires macOS 12 or newer to run their latest version
Download 1Password for Mac | 1Password
if it was me then I would just download and install that
As Rudegar has mentioned, 1Password 8 requires macOS Monterey (12.0) or later, so it will run on macOS Ventura (13.0) without issues. However, note that 1Password 8 is a subscription-based version, meaning it requires a 1Password account to use.
If you're using an older version of macOS and still need a password manager, 1Password 7 would be the last version that supports macOS 10.13 High Sierra and later (though it's no longer actively developed).
MacOS 12 is macOS Montere
MacOS 13 is macOS Ventura
so what your computer is running is newer than the minimum requirements stated by the developers of 1password
so downloading their latest version should be perfectly compatible with the operating system of your computer
Just to add to my recent post, I already run 1Password 7 on my iMac. The question is in relation to whether I can upgrade my 1Password to 8 /Monterey.

You will have to pay for 1Password 8 as follows;
Apple has two free password apps you can use, KeyChain and Passwords. Both are in the Applications folder.
