How do I fix Facebook Marketplace not loading on iPad?

I have current iPad update and Facebook update.

when using face book and I go to use the market place section it will not generate the screen with information .

i have deleted and renewed face book app, forced restart as directed, logged out of face book and the logged back in with no result.

my iPad is new, only 6 months old

does anyone else have similar issues?

As mentioned above, contact FaceBook with the link provided. FB developed the app, not Apple.

About the only thing that is not a Facebook problem is VPN. Do you have a 3rd party VPN installed, even if you are not using it? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile. If that fixes it, you can try reinstalling VPN. VPN actually reduces your privacy, it does not enhance it, so you may want to rethink the reason you use VPN. However, when most social media apps detect you are using VPN they will stop working.

Facebook/Meta apps have been a mess on iOS and iPad OS for more than a year. You should take the matter up with Meta. Perhaps if enough people complain, they'll get things sorted out.

Yes, I’ve been having the same issue since updating to iOS 18. I’ve also tried everything, and am now going to wait for iOS 19 to see if this update fixes it. Apple says it is a FB problem so perhaps it’s just a coincidence that mine stopped working after the update. There is no problem with it on my android phone.
