WIll the M4 Max Studio be far superior to the M2 Max STudio for gaming and flight simulation?

I am considering upgrading from an M2 Max 38 Core Mac Studio to an M4 MAax 40 Cor Mac Studio. My primary reason for upgrading would be for gaming, including flight simulation. Would there be a marked difference in performance and graphics?

Mac Studio, macOS 15.3

I expect there would be a noticeable difference, because the Mx-ULTRA is Two Mx chips connected together. You get double everything, and MOST parts can work at close to top speed.

[in my opinion] the difference is not likely to be noticeable.

there are far more factors at play than number of processor, including number of GPUs and drive speeds.

In broad general terms, the improvements from M2 to M4 are evolutionary, not revolutionary. Main memory speed has increased somewhat, but that does not show up readily in the specs.
