Mac mini M4 not recognizing External Drive

put all together and plugged in MAC Mini M4. Does not recognize. What do I need to make External drive work? New HYPER Drive (External) with Samsung 990EVO Plus PCle4.0x4/5.0x2NVMe.2 SSD 2TB

Try reseating the NVMe SSD in the Hyper drive enclosure, then plug it into the back of the M4 Mac mini.


If that doesn't work, remove the NVMe SSD from the Hyper drive enclosure and send/take it back to the seller.


Then buy a different brand of NVMe enclosure like the empty DIY ACASIS, Qwiizlab or OWC Express 1M2.
