Apple iPad Air 2 - End of Updates

Like so many below, I have an iPad Air 2 which now no longer updates therefore I'm now being forced to throw it away and buy a new one. The cost of them now is disgraceful, £600 plus. While I understand that you can't keep updating old tech, we shouldn't be penalised when the apps we have are updating then no longer work, because the app is no longer compatible with the device. If you stop updating the iPads then the apps should also cease unless the update is compatible with the device.

I'm sick and tired of being forced to throw away perfectly good tech or make the tech more afordable

First of all, please do not "throw it away." You can return it to Apple to be responsibly recycled.

But to address your main point, your argument should be with the various app developers, not Apple. They are the ones changing the requirements needed to run the apps they developed. I agree, it would be nice if they made older versions of their apps available, but that is rarely the case.
