Where can I find 'Open Recent' option in Pages?

I tried to access the Pages file I use commonly. Surprise, there used to just be the documents in most recent order. Then Recents was added. Tonight I eventually Recents under File. I could find nothing from Apple, but Google AI said Apple did it to "streamline" the page. Is it only me, but is this just more clicks? Thanks.

Hi t10,

Perhaps a recent update of your macOS wiped your Recent list. That sometimes happens.

I can't remember back to macOS 12.7

Here we go with macOS Sequoia 15.3.1

System Settings (may be called System Preferences on your device)

Control centre and Scroll to the bottom > Recent documents, applications and servers.

Mine are set to 10

If that does not work for you, I sympathise. Apple changed the name System Preferences to System Settings and then completely reorganised the items. Bugga!

Regards,

Ian.
