I’ve got a new Mac Mini M4 and when I connect it to other newer Mac computer it’s not showing up. It chimes when connected but does not show in finder. I’ve tried multiple new cables, my old tower and 3 new MacBook Pro’s and they all do the same thing, chime and that’s it.

What do you mean connect it to other Mac? What are you attempting to achieve by connecting it and explain in detail how you are connecting it. Please follow the steps in Setup Assistant and Migration Assistant for a fast and trouble-free migration! Follow any other route and be ready for problems, much like you are experiencing now!!!!!
Trying to do migration and move files and such.
when I connect via thunderbolt or USB the computers will chime like it’s connected but nothing shows in Finder or Disk Utility.
Just use a TM backup drive to migrate and not Mac to Mac connection.
