Can my 2017 MacBook Pro (Intel Core i5) run macOS 14 or 15?

This MBPro has a 3.1 GHz Dual-Core Intel i5 processor with 8 GBytes of 2133 MHZ LPDDR3 MEMORY. It is currently running Ventura 13.6.7 and Ventura 13.7.4 is installing as I write this. Is this the latest install for this MBPro? I see that macOS 14 (Sonoma) and macOS 15 (Sequoia) have been released. Do they run on the Intel processor? Is Ventura the latest OS I can install on this MacBook Pro? Will there be future updates? How much longer will Apple support this laptop?

I'm upgrading my iMac (late 2014 version) to a new M4 iMac, but had hoped to be able to keep this MacBook Pro running for a little while longer. Apple's hardware seems to almost always outlast the software upgrades.

How much longer will this MBPro be supported by Apple, with OS upgrades? It has been a very good computer and I hate to replace it now.

Thanks for a quick reply and advice.
