iTunes Library in computer disappeared. Where are the thousands of songs I had in it?

I wanted to know where the few thousand songs I had in my iTunes Library has gone. I had hundreds of songs from my music CD's uploaded on to my computer in iTunes, but the old iTunes Library with all of those CD's songs disappeared! Please help! Money spent and hours of time to put them into my iTunes Library and now they are gone! Where are they and what did Apple do with them? I'm going to panic!

Did you install Apple Music, Apple TV, or Apple Devices for the Microsoft Store? Installing any of these apps alters iTunes such that it then only works with audiobooks and podcasts. Remove whichever have been installed to restore iTunes to full functionality. If that isn't the issue see Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash - Apple Community.

Thanks! I had the same problem and thought it had to do with something from updating from v 12.13.5.3 to 12.13.6.1. Looks like some time in the last month I downloaded Apple TV from MS Marketplace and just didn't realize my iTunes library on my main PC had vanished. Uninstalled it along with Apple Music which it forced me in install after I opened iTunes (in what seemed to be the first time since unknowingly installing Apple TV), reinstalled iTunes and my library was back.
