External HDD is Read Only. How to change permissions?

My External HDD is Read Only. This is my Time Machine HDD.

I wish to access the HDD but the security lock is not visible ... see image.

How to change permissions?

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 13.7

It's working properly and can't be changed; Time Machine doesn't allow anything else to write to its backup volume.
